About the Internship

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will support the monitoring, control, and improvement of banking operations carried out across the company’s branch network.

The intern will contribute to ensuring the quality of operational processing, compliance with internal procedures, and effective management of operational risks.

Key Responsibilities

The Professional Intern in Banking Operations will:

  • Monitor daily banking operations carried out by branches;
  • Verify the regularity of transactions submitted by the branch network;
  • Participate in monitoring operational suspense items and anomalies;
  • Assist in handling complaints related to banking operations;
  • Perform first-level controls on transactions;
  • Follow up on recommendations resulting from control activities;
  • Prepare periodic monitoring reports;
  • Archive operational documents;
  • Contribute to operational improvement projects;
  • Participate in testing information system functionalities;
  • Support ad hoc assignments entrusted by the Operations Department.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have:

  • Basic knowledge of banking, microfinance, and accounting;
  • An understanding of banking operations;
  • Good analytical and writing skills;
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools.
