CHINGO INGO Forum Team Leader Job in Cameroon – NRC Recruitment
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is recruiting a CHINGO INGO Forum Team Leader to support humanitarian coordination activities in Cameroon. This position is based in Yaoundé and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced humanitarian professionals to lead coordination, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives across the country.
The successful candidate will coordinate the implementation of the CHINGO platform’s workplan while strengthening collaboration among humanitarian organizations operating in Cameroon.
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Coordinate the implementation of CHINGO’s annual workplan.
- Facilitate collaboration and information sharing among humanitarian partners.
- Organize coordination meetings, consultations, and working groups.
- Monitor humanitarian developments and support collective advocacy.
- Represent CHINGO in humanitarian coordination platforms and donor meetings.
- Produce reports, situation updates, newsletters, and advocacy documents.
- Manage workplans, budgets, procurements, and consultants.
- Support partnerships and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with NRC, donor, and humanitarian policies.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Director.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- University degree in International Relations, Political Science, Project Management, Communication, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in humanitarian coordination, advocacy, project management, or similar roles.
- Experience working with humanitarian stakeholders.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and workplans.
- Excellent English and French communication skills.
- Strong networking and representation abilities.
- Knowledge of Cameroon’s humanitarian context is highly desirable.
