ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Program Manager in Cameroon to coordinate and manage field programs involving farmers, communities, field teams and partners.

The Program Manager Job at ECOM Cameroon is a full-time, field-based position under Programs / Field Operations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Director.

The advertised salary is XAF 300,000–500,000 per month.

Program Manager Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop and implement program work plans and coordinate field teams to ensure effective execution of activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing program work plans.
  • Coordinating field teams.
  • Monitoring program deliverables, timelines and budgets.
  • Managing relationships with farmers, communities and partners.
  • Conducting regular field visits.
  • Preparing program reports.
  • Providing management updates.
  • Identifying operational challenges.
  • Developing practical solutions.
  • Collecting and analyzing field data.
  • Supporting training and capacity-building activities.
  • Coordinating with finance, logistics and procurement teams.
  • Monitoring program targets and deliverables.
  • Supporting the development of new programs and initiatives.
  • Maintaining effective communication between field teams and management.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Business Administration or a related field.

ECOM requires approximately three to five years of program or project management experience.

Experience in agriculture, commodities, rural development or related sectors is an advantage.

Candidates should demonstrate strong planning, reporting, communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing teams and working in rural or field environments is also important.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively.

Fluency in English and French, both verbally and in writing, is required.
