Job Responsibilities

The Assistant de Protection will be responsible for:

  • Supervising GBV case-management activities in safe spaces and through mobile interventions.
  • Managing and monitoring cases involving survivors of violence.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, safety, dignity, and non-discrimination throughout the case-management process.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and partners to facilitate access to medical, psychosocial, and legal services.
  • Participating in weekly Protection team meetings.
  • Taking part in relevant internal and external training programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in Psychology, Human Rights, Law, Gender Studies, or a related field.
  • At least one year of professional experience, preferably in community mobilization or GBV case management.
  • Good command of English, Pidgin English, and local languages.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging security conditions.
  • Cameroonian nationality is required.
