SPIRO Is Hiring a Field Quality Engineer in Douala, Cameroon
SPIRO is recruiting a Field Quality Engineer in Douala, Littoral Region, Cameroon. The successful candidate will oversee product quality, investigate field quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure that customer deliveries meet established quality standards.
This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful applicant will report directly to the Country Head, with functional reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Quality. Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities
The Field Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Inspect products and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Measure, analyze, document, and report product quality performance.
- Ensure that customer deliveries meet the required quality levels.
- Recommend compliance initiatives and improvements to the quality management system.
- Provide management with timely updates on quality compliance and performance.

- Ensure that control plans and related documentation are properly implemented and maintained.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Five to ten years of experience in customer quality or field quality, preferably in two-wheeler or three-wheeler assembly.
- A BE, B.Tech, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Knowledge of electric vehicles and lithium-ion batteries is an advantage.
- Understanding of motors, controllers, Vehicle Control Units (VCUs), and wiring harnesses.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of IATF and ISO quality management requirements.
- Proficiency in quality tools and techniques.
- Ability to establish and monitor employee performance goals.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ensure accountability for assigned responsibilities and performance targets.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Fluency in English.
