Job Description

Under the supervision of the Storekeeper and Stock Manager, the Assistant Storekeeper will support the daily management of inventory and ensure stock accuracy within the warehouse.

Assistant Storekeeper Job in Douala : Main Responsibilities

• Assist the storekeeper in daily stock management activities
• Maintain accurate and reliable theoretical stock records
• Participate in product labeling and organized storage of batches
• Ensure compliance with stock management procedures
• Support inventory counting and product control operations

Key Activities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Optimizing the arrangement of products and batches in the warehouse
• Monitoring the labeling of product lots
• Maintaining stock cards and stock management tools such as GESCOM
• Checking product conformity during loading and deliveries
• Monitoring stock movements using FIFO and FEFO methods
• Ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance of the warehouse
• Participating in periodic inventory operations
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by management

Required Profile
