Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Represent the company at local events and forums to enhance market visibility and presence.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the subsidiary, ensuring efficiency across all departments.
  • Supervise tech and operations teams to ensure the smooth execution of installation and service plans.
  • Support installation planning and manage inventory to prevent stockouts or delays.

Compliance and Financial Oversight

  • Ensure legal compliance and meet reporting requirements for the Tanzanian entity.
  • Oversee budget tracking, invoicing, revenue collection, and petty cash management.
  • Coordinate with regional finance and operations teams for alignment and support.

Strategic Ownership and Leadership

  • Take full ownership of the subsidiary’s performance, treating it like a standalone business.
  • Build and nurture a strong local team; recruit and train personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional managers to ensure strategic alignment and execution.

Growth and Market Expansion

  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, including potential market expansions within the region.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in the tech industry.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or operations.
  • Strong leadership experience managing multi-functional teams or business units.
