The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), through HealthX Partners, is recruiting a Data Management Agent in Cameroon. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong data management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and computer skills who are passionate about improving public health outcomes.
The successful candidate will support data collection, validation, reporting, and quality improvement activities across project sites while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of health information. About the Position
The HealthX Partners Data Management Agent Cameroon position focuses on ensuring the quality, completeness, and integrity of monitoring and evaluation data. The selected candidate will work closely with Data Entry Agents, Community Relay Resource Assistants (CRRAs), and project teams to strengthen data management systems.
This is an on-site contract position based in Cameroon.
Main Responsibilities
As a Data Management Agent, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the availability of registers and monitoring & evaluation tools.
- Ensuring the correct use of data collection registers and reporting forms.
- Training and mentoring Data Entry Agents and CRRAs on electronic reporting systems.
- Coordinating daily data entry into DAMA, DHIS, Power Apps, Microsoft Excel, and other databases.
- Managing proper storage of monitoring and evaluation documents.
- Organizing weekly and monthly data validation sessions.
- Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and timeliness.
- Supporting data review meetings by preparing performance analyses.
- Participating in quarterly Data Quality Audits (DQA) and SIMS assessments.
- Documenting Quality Improvement activities at supported sites.
Qualifications
To qualify for the HealthX Partners Data Management Agent Cameroon recruitment, applicants should possess:
- A Diploma in any discipline.
- Training in Computer Science or Information Science (an advantage).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in French.
- Working knowledge of English is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.
