About the Role
The CHINGO INGO Forum Technical Assistant will support the planning and implementation of CHINGO activities in line with established workplans and objectives.
The successful candidate will contribute to coordination, information management, reporting, member engagement, communication, and administrative support. The role also involves supporting field engagement and monitoring activities across relevant operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the CHINGO INGO Forum Technical Assistant include:
- Supporting the planning and implementation of CHINGO activities.
- Assisting with the organization of meetings, workshops, consultations, and other events.
- Following up on agreed action points and supporting member engagement.

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have a university degree at bachelor’s level in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
Applicants should also have:
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in administration, project support, coordination support, or information management.
- Experience in humanitarian, development, or NGO settings.
- Experience organizing meetings, workshops, or events.
- A basic understanding of humanitarian coordination mechanisms and the NGO sector in Cameroon.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online collaboration platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- The ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Good networking and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience supporting reporting, information management, or coordination activities will be an added advantage.
