Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) field operations across West and Central Africa.
  • Coordinate research, surveys, and monitoring activities.
  • Develop and review monitoring plans.
  • Ensure high-quality data collection and reporting.
  • Supervise country MLE teams.
  • Manage budgets and external vendors.
  • Support government partners and implementing organizations.
  • Conduct field visits and quality assurance activities.
  • Produce reports and contribute to organizational learning.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Development Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience.
  • At least 4 years managing large field teams.
  • Experience working across West and Central Africa.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Experience with SurveyCTO or similar electronic data collection systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
