The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is recruiting an ICT Intern (Stagiaire ICT) to join its team in Yaoundé, Cameroon. This internship offers students and recent graduates an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in information and communication technology within an international organization.
The selected intern will support the UNDP Cameroon ICT unit by providing technical assistance to staff and supporting the organization’s digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
The ICT Intern will assist the ICT Support Associate with various technical tasks, including:
- Installing and configuring ICT equipment and systems
- Administering and maintaining ICT infrastructure
- Troubleshooting and repairing computer equipment
- Supporting cybersecurity measures, including antivirus protection
- Managing ICT equipment inventory
- Updating software and applications
- Providing technical support to users
- Assisting staff with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Supporting Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings and video conferences
- Performing other ICT-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Applicants should meet one of the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related ICT field.
- OR have graduated within the past year from a relevant university program.
Desired Skills
Candidates with the following skills will have an advantage:
- Technical user support experience
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Experience using Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Basic knowledge of computer security, firewalls, antivirus protection, and backup systems
- Computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Language Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Fluency in French with practical English knowledge, or
- Fluency in English with practical French knowledge.
