Qualified monitoring and evaluation professionals, consultancy firms, and experienced independent consultants have an opportunity to work with Christian Blind Mission (CBM) on a major final project evaluation in Cameroon’s Far North Region. The CBM Consultancy Cameroon 2026 opportunity concerns the final evaluation of a BMZ-funded project supporting refugees, internally displaced persons, host communities, returnees, and persons with disabilities.
About the CBM Consultancy Cameroon 2026 Opportunity
Christian Blind Mission is seeking a qualified consultant, consultancy firm, or consortium to conduct the final evaluation of the project titled “Strengthening the Resilience of Refugees, IDPs, and Host Communities through Improved Access to Health, Education, and Income-Generating Activities in the Far North Region of Cameroon.”
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and CBM and is being implemented by the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS).

Key Responsibilities
The selected consultant or consultancy team will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive final evaluation.
The assessment will examine the project’s:
- Relevance
- Coherence
- Effectiveness
- Efficiency
- Impact
- Sustainability
The evaluation will also document lessons learned, identify good practices, and provide recommendations for future programming.
The consultant will work closely with CBM Cameroon and CBCHS throughout the assignment.
Requirements
The CBM Consultancy Cameroon 2026 opportunity is aimed at experienced evaluation professionals.
Applicants should have at least five years of proven experience conducting similar final evaluations of humanitarian or development projects.
An advanced university degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, International Development, disability inclusion, or another relevant discipline is required.
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- Experience applying OECD-DAC evaluation criteria
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Experience with mixed-methods evaluations
- Experience evaluating multisectoral programmes
- Knowledge of health, education, livelihoods, humanitarian response, and disability inclusion
- Knowledge of gender equality and safeguarding
- Understanding of human rights-based approaches
- Knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
- Strong analytical and report-writing abilities
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to deliver quality outputs within agreed deadlines
Fluency in French is required. Knowledge of English and local languages spoken in the Far North Region will be an advantage.
