NTU International A/S is preparing a proposal for the Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost. The programme seeks to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional with a strong understanding of complex development programmes and multi-partner initiatives.

Candidates should demonstrate substantial professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, programme evaluation and/or applied data analysis.

Experience working with donor-funded programmes will be particularly relevant. Knowledge of EU-funded programmes and previous professional experience in Africa will be considered an advantage.

Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills are also important for this role.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Requirements

To qualify for this Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Expert position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Education

• A university degree at Master’s level in evaluation, statistics, data science, development economics, social sciences or a related discipline.
• Candidates without the specified Master’s degree may qualify with four additional years of relevant professional experience, according to the vacancy requirements.

Professional Experience

• At least 8 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, programme evaluation and/or applied data analysis.
• At least 4 years of specific experience designing and/or operating Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks.
• Experience with indicators, baselines, data collection protocols, evidence consolidation and/or impact assessment.
• Experience working on donor-funded or complex multi-partner programmes is highly relevant.
• Experience with EU-funded programmes and projects in Africa is an asset.

Language Skills

• Excellent command of English is required.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be considered an advantage.
